YE Yassin Elouardi Field Notes

Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated 18 August 2026

This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and how you can control it. It covers the forms on this site (Ask Yassin, Work With Me) and the optional analytics described below.

Who is responsible for this data

The data controller is Yassin Elouardi, reachable at hello@yassinelouardi.com. That address is the right one for any question about this policy or a request concerning your data.

Data collected through the forms

Ask Yassin and Work With Me collect what you type into them — name, email, and the content of your message, plus a few optional fields specific to each form (company, website or LinkedIn, topic, budget range, timeline). Submissions are delivered by Web3Forms , a third-party form processor, straight to an inbox — nothing is stored in a database on this site, and nothing collected through a form is used for marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

The legal basis is your consent in submitting the form, and — where the enquiry concerns a professional engagement — the steps needed to respond to a request you initiated.

Analytics

This site can use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are read and how people find them. Nothing loads until you actively accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, or later via Cookie preferences in the footer. If you reject or simply close the banner without accepting, no Google script is requested and no analytics cookie is set.

If you accept, Google Analytics collects pages viewed, referring site, approximate region (from an IP address the EU version of GA4 does not store), and device/browser type. It is used in aggregate, to understand traffic — not to identify you personally, and not for advertising: no advertising or personalisation signals are enabled on this property.

The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies possible are Google Analytics', and only after you accept:

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes visitors for analytics 2 years
_ga_<container-id> Persists session state for analytics 2 years

Who this data is shared with

Two processors, and no one else: Web3Forms for form delivery, and — only after consent — Google, for analytics. Google Analytics involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long data is kept

Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. Analytics data, when you've consented to it, is kept for 14 months from collection before Google automatically deletes it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data held about you, to object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, write to hello@yassinelouardi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or your local data protection authority.
